Mozart’s Requiem in St Paul

We went to listen to Mozart’s Requiem this week in St Paul’s Cathedral.
The line started from around the corner, but was moving pretty quickly.

It was the first time I was inside St. Paul’s. It is huge, but hard to evaluate how huge it is compared to other cathedrals.

We sat at row E, pretty close to the orchestra and the choir. If only there was no young boy in front of me that was obviously tired, and misbehaving.
The acoustics were very impressive, and there was surprisingly a lot of choir involved. I thought that Mozart is all about violins.
Audience obviously new where each part ends, and was clapping furiously every time.
All in all, this was an interesting experience. Lacrimosa was the best part, of course.
