Yesterday we went on a hike from Amberley to Arundel.
On the way there seen from a train window half a dozen deer grazing by the tracks.
Along the river there’s something akin to wild garlic blooming. It’s actually quite tasty.
The highlight of today’s hike was seeing an owl. Not sure why it was awake in the middle of a day, though.
Also, seen lots of pheasants. At least three couples, maybe more.
And the top of the hill was full of black headed sheep with their lambs.
The map took us to a closed gate behind the castle. Luckily, we were able to find a sidedoor by the cathedral to get out to the main street.
