Today we went to hike around Chipstead. Easy to get there from London Bridge station, just 50 minutes ride, and the train was almost empty.
The highlight of today’s hike was seeing a rabbit, just sitting there in the field.
Saw kites, which are quite common now. Saw something even smaller and hovering in place, probably kestrel. Wasn’t quick enough to capture the latter, though.
The weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold. Was great just sitting under a tree there between some wheat or maybe barley fields, eating our banana bread.
Hope to return there in August, maybe, to see the fields all golden.
