Today was the first time I successfully used a bit extractor.
I was doing small repairs since I was a kid, really. And I always dreaded the day that a screw will get stripped. It took some time, yes, but I finally found that screw in a door knob I was trying to make less stiff.
Turns out, it isn’t such a big deal after all. It didn’t particularly “extract” the screw, more like tore the head off. But it worked. Glad I had this set for that particular case.
