I rarely go back to write about beer I’ve had before, but I’ve finished my second and last bottle of Dragon’s Milk Tales of Gold, and it’s still one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Maybe it’s the barrel aging, or the the added lactose, but it has this amazing creaminess and vanilla notes that none of the Belgian beers come close to. A real shame it’s impossible to get in the UK nowadays.
